Summary: A lovely older home in a clearly devoted and friendly community with a quaint general store right next door. We enjoyed board games with family around the dining room table, fishing, swimming and beach time at nearby Tappan Lake — a true jewel of the area, evenings by the backyard fire pit, and we especially liked the nearby hiking trails. The owner was kind, friendly and attentive, even making sure we had plenty of firewood for our Labor Day weekend stay. Loved the interesting history of the area and all the old buildings. A truly enjoyable getaway! P.S. Tea on the front porch swing was so relaxing.
