The guest suite is attached to the main house but completely separated, including; parking, entrance, indoor wet sauna, hot tub with balcony/bbq, movie room, etc . Outside you have a 1 acre, fenced-in backyard, perfect for your pets to play while you relax in the hot tub.
Designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright`s granddaughter, Elizabeth Wright Ingraham, this space is unlike any other in Colorado. Elizabeth actually lived here for several years before she sold the home, giving our community unique ties to her brilliant architecture.
The romantic master bedroom has a big screen tv and access to thousands of movies and channels. Your private entrance gives you access to a 1 acre fenced in property that leads to numerous hiking trails, including our famous yet remote water-fall hike...
Your host Kyla was born and raised in Colorado, and will be able to guide you to the most special experiences Colorado has to offer. Ask about world-class fly fishing, golfing, kayaking, white-water rafting and wildlife experiences!
We are located in Pike National Forest. Enjoy a walk around the magical lake of Green Mountain Falls, creek-side dining at the Wines of Colorado, or the Blue Moose Tavern for a cold drink. The Pantry offers the best breakfast around and there are unique shops for you to visit in town. You only need to step out the front door to explore one of the many mountain trails in the area, including a hike to multiple waterfalls.
Take a drive up the 14,000 foot mountain, Pikes Peak, one of the only fourteeners in Colorado that you can drive to the summit! A 15 minute drive will take you to Manitou, one of the most unique towns in Colorado, where you can find the penny arcade, tons of restaurants and shopping options, and even enter the Garden of the Gods, a must see in Colorado. If you enjoy wild-life, we highly recommend the wolf rescue sanctuary.
4 wheel drive recommended during winter months (October - May). Taxis are also available or Ubers from Colorado Springs. The closest Ski slopes are 1.5 hours away, (Breckenridge & Copper Mountain) an absolutely stunning drive!
