Beautiful 2 bedroom/ 2 bath villa located in the sought out Village of Mallory Square - Emmalee Villas and close to the very popular Lake Sumter Landing square for shopping, restaurants, and free live nightly entertainment. Centrally located to shopping (e.g. Walmart, Walgreens, etc) as well as Spanish Springs and Brownwood Paddock Squares.
Looking for activities? Neighborhood Recreation Centers are close by where you'll find swimming pools, billiards and card rooms, tennis, etc.
Lake Sumter Landing Square is a five minute drive. The closest neighborhood recreation center is Mallory Square - which has a 30-year and older pool along with shuffleboard, bocce, and horseshoes. This is also the convenient location of the mail box and an ATM if you need it. This is about 0.3 miles from the home. The closet Village rec center is Coconut Cove (card rooms, billiards, exercise classes, and family pool). There are several regional rec centers that are close including Lake Miona, Sea Breeze, and Colony Cottage - these are very large facilities with activities and events of all types.
There is a Winn Dixie at Sumter Landing which is about 5 minutes from the home. There is also a neighborhood Walmart and Publix just south 2.5 miles south of us - an easy ride in the car or golf cart.

ID CARDS:
While staying in The Villages, you are required to have a Villages ID card in order to access amenities. There are two types of ID cards - 1) a temporary guest ID card which is free or 2) an optional $50 temporary resident ID card which allows you to play golf on the champion golf courses, book your own tee times on the executive golf courses, and use the regional rec centers.
The temporary resident ID card allows access to all executive golf courses, neighborhood & family pools, neighborhood recreational center activities, movie theater tickets, and much more. Please let us know if need an ID and what type. For each one, we need each guest name, approx. DOB, and home address.
GOLF CART RENTALS:
Landlord does not supply a golf cart. Golf carts can be rented at several local companies. There are others around the Villages and surrounding areas, but this group appears to be liked by people, is the is the largest, and most convenient: The Villages Golf Carts – located right at Sumter Landing 352-751-6750. https://thevillagesgolfcars.com/rentals.php. We HIGHLY recommend that you book as soon as possible for the season as availability becomes limited.
NO SMOKING:
This is a non-smoking residence. If you decide to break the rules and smoke inside the house, you will be fined a minimum of $300.
